Sultanpur Palace

Sultanpur palace, Kullu, HimachalThe famous Sultanpur Palace, called Rupi Palace is located in Kullu. The Palace is newly built in the vicinity of the old palace which was damaged in an earthquake. The architecture is simple with a mixture of Pahari and colonial styles. The inside is impressive and there are some wall paintings that are still fresh-looking. Since it is the private residence of the erstwhile ruling family, one needs to contact the family to see the palace.
