A pleasant 2 Km walk doing the 'Villa Round' Provides the visitor the opportunity of looking down at the Plains while enjoying Nahan’s temperature climate and cool breezes. Halt at 'Chatri', a popular picnic spot and visit the British cemetery while doing this walk.
The Fossil Park at Saketi, beyond Nahan, recreates the 85 million year old remains of the Serigeptus dinosaurs whose remains were discovered here. If you visit the Simbalwara Wildlife Sanctuary you may be lucky to enough to see a leopard in its natural habitat. Round off your visit with a trip to the forts and memorials of Nahan’s rich princely past. 10 Km down the road to Renukaji is the Jaitak Fort that fell to Ranzore Thapa in 1809 and was conquered by the British in 1814, Kila Lohgarh, 'the iron fort' is where Banda Bahadur was given asylum by the rulers of Sirmaur.
