Taxis and buses for the suburbs and walking within the town remain the primary modes of movement. For sightseeing, taxi’s may be hired or a coach tour operated by the Himachal Pradesh Tourism development Corporation (HPTDC) taken. Taxis can be hired from the HTPDC or taxi unions from various registered travel agents placed all around town.
